About Bible Forum
On January 4, 2003 Tom Moody and Jacob Gwin got behind the microphone to present
the very first Bible Forum program for the WNQM audience. Tom Moody used
radio and television to preach the gospel prior to his work with the Hillview
congregation. Mr. Moody asked the Hillview church if they would be interested
in sponsoring a live call-in Bible radio program. The congregation agreed, and Bible
Forum was thus born. The title was chosen to reflect the desired nature
of the program: Biblical in nature (as opposed to political or sports
programming) and open in such a way that a give-and-take Bible discussion can
take place.
Unbeknownst to the vast majority of the Bible Forum audience, Tom had
developed leukemia about a year before Bible Forum was started but the
disease went into remission in the months before Bible Forum began.
Unfortunately, his leukemia came back in May 2003. He continued his work as
much as possible with the Hillview church, even joining the radio program via
telephone when unable to appear personally. On June 26, 2003 Tom Moody passed
from this life; however, his example and the effects of his work for the cause
of Christ will be far-reaching for many years. [Click

Forum (May 31, 2003).
On August 30, 2003 the Bible Forum website was launched, providing
another medium through which Bible Forum listeners can be a part of the
program, in addition to providing resources for further study about recently
discussed Bible Forum topics.
On November 1, 2003 Terry Francis joined Jacob Gwin as co-host of Bible Forum.
Terry began work with the Hillview church in January 2004. We are very
glad to have Terry working with the Hillview congregation, and we look forward
to participating in much good work together.
On May 8, 2004 Bible Forum began streaming live over the Internet.
We would like to thank the guests we have on the program from time to time which
include James Buchanan, Greg Gwin, and Jeremy Sweets. We also thank the
employees of WNQM for their very friendly assistance and for doing the myriad
of things that have to be done to put a live radio program on the air.
Finally, we thank you, our audience, for making the past four years of Bible
Forum a success. We would like to express our thanks to our listeners,
callers, and mail/email correspondents for your participation in Bible Forum,
and we hope you will continue that participation through the coming months and
years.
